Car Seats...

Now that Campbell is OVER one year old (by a week), it was time to change up the car seat…

So, after much grunting and groaning, I was able to change out her old rear facing seat for her new front facing lazy-boy car seat. This morning marked her first trip in it, and what a ride it was!

Immediately after strapping her in, she had this look on her face like “this is new…and I’m digging it.” I then walked around to my seat and started up the car and looked back to begin backing up. This innovation caused her much excitement that now SHE COULD SEE ME NON-STOP.

Once out on the road, I started accelerating and she started squealing. Looking back, her eyes were glued to the road as we got going up to speed. My girl has a need…a need for speed!

She giggled the whole way to daycare today. Perhaps this afternoon she’ll be happy to get back in the car.

It’s been a rough long weekend here without my girls.

EXTREMELY quiet.

They are off visiting their grand/great grandmother in PA. Rough not having them around.

So, to cheer me up, I’ve been looking at pictures.

Although, I must say, I had a pretty fun day today.

Our fence got finished, I went to the Makers Mark distillery, and I saw the new Indiana Jones movie (which is TERRIBLE by the way). Time to hit the sack.
